Social Media & Translation Manager (m/w/d) - Finland (Freelancer)

BACKGROUND

Join our dynamic team as a freelance professional specializing in the Finnish Market, where you'll play a pivotal role in expanding our presence within the plus-size fashion industry through strategic social media management, impactful influencer marketing, and compelling copywriting, all within a flexible, fully remote work arrangement spanning 10 to 15 hours per week.

You will be part of, and in regular contact with, our fully remote Scandinavian team consisting of 5 members (one manager and 4 social media managers). You will also be in contact with our Social Media and brand/online marketing team based in Germany (English required) for the implementation of the editorial plan, the campaigns and the branded content to be deployed.

YOUR MISSION

  • Influencer Marketing:
    • Maintain influencer cooperations and build long-term relationships with them
    • Research for new cooperation partners
  • Social media management:
    • Manage our social channels (Instagram and Facebook)
    • Update the content provided by the brand department
    • Add your local twists with UGC material and influencer content
    • Write captions for images and create stories and reels
    • Develop a strategy with a focus on channel growth and engagement
  • Managing the community:
    • Reply to comments and direct messages
    • Refer to our customer service in compliance with the guidelines
  • Trend research:
    • Keep up to date with the latest trends on social media
    • Provide insight into the work of competitors and other innovators within our industry
  • Reporting:
    • Monitor KPIs and take care of monthly reporting to head office
  • Translation/Copywriting:
    • Create high quality Finnish content from English source material while maintaining a strong marketing and fashion focus
    • Add a local touch to all our texts for the Finnish market, including content for our online shop, post cards, newsletter, ads and social media captions

YOUR PROFILE

  • You have experience (2-5 years) as a social media manager and/or influencer marketing manager, preferably within the fashion or beauty sector
  • Your writing skills in the Finnish language are excellent and you have experience in writing marketing texts (copywriting) within fashion
  • You are a native Finish speaker with very good knowledge in English
  • You have a sense for the right tone of voice and how to communicate in an effective way in the fashion industry
  • You are willing to work 10-15 hours per week (Important: daily availability is a must as the community needs daily support and some translations have a short deadline)
  • You enjoy collecting data, analyzing numbers and creating reports
  • As a person you are highly motivated and show initiative in your everyday work. You have a great sense of responsibility for everything you do
