Copywriter/Translator - Norwegian Market (Freelancer)

BACKGROUND

Join our dynamic team as a freelance copywriter and translator specializing in the Norwegian language, where you'll play a pivotal role in expanding our presence within the plus-size fashion industry, all within a flexible, fully remote work arrangement spanning 5 to 10 hours per week.

You will be in regular contact with our remote Scandinavian team consisting of 5 members, and the head office in Germany.

YOUR MISSION

Your mission will be to add a local touch to all our texts for the Norwegian market. These texts are spanning various marketing purposes, from content for our online shop, to post cards, newsletters, ads and social media captions. The most important thing in this role is your ability to create high quality Norwegian content from English source material while maintaining a strong marketing and fashion focus. 

YOUR PROFILE

  • You have experience (2-5 years) as a copywriter for marketing texts or as a translator within the fashion industry, or related industry (e.g. beauty)
  • You are available to work around 5-10 hours per week (Important: daily availability is a must as some of the translations have a short deadline)
  • Your writing skills in the Norwegian language are excellent
  • You are a native Norwegian speaker with very good knowledge in English
  • You have a sense for the right tone of voice and how to communicate effectively in the fashion industry
  • If you have expertise in the following areas, it would be a competitive advantage:
    • social media management and influencer marketing
    • SEO/SEA copywriting
    • Digital Marketing
